4/13/21: Sage Advice: Tips for Self-Advocacy Group Advisors
Presented by Erin Smithers and Ashley Ritchey of the NJ Self-Advocacy Project team, this webinar is open to Self-Advocacy Group Advisors of all experience and skill levels. We will share tips and techniques to optimize the efficiency of existing self-advocacy groups and discuss how to establish a successful self-advocacy group at your school or agency. We will also explore the role and responsibilities of Group Advisors. Case examples based on our collective 20+ years of experience advising groups will be used to prompt discussion and highlight common areas of interest to Group Advisors.
