Join the NJ Self-Advocacy Project and special guest Connor Griffin (Health Care Advocacy) for a general overview of the current budget reconciliation bill and what it means for our community. Many people are worried they are going to lose medical benefits, access to services, and even their homes. We will describe the current situation of the bill, the process for the bill approval, how the changes may affect you, and other vital information that Connor has to disperse. The webinar will include a presentation geared towards people with disabilities and their supports, Q&A session, and an advocacy campaign activity.

Connor Griffin is the Director of Health Care Advocacy with The Arc of New Jersey. The Health Care Advocacy program promotes quality health care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. Connor received his Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), with a concentration in Health Systems and Policy, from Rutgers University. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, with a minor in Public Health, from the University of Delaware.
