Discussion: Overall Picture of NJ Present/Future Services, Fed/NJ Fiscal Budget, and NJ/Fed Policy Update with Attendee Input Welcomed
Celine Fortin is inviting you all to become informed about Services, Fiscal Budget (NJ &
Federal), Agency System Policies, and Funding Policies. Prior to the meeting, she and
other Industry Leaders are communicating on updates with the Federal House of Reps,
Federal Senators and NJ Government. She wants to hear your comments and feedback.
The Arc of NJ:
Monitors and responds to all State Legislation and budget issues that impact
individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Families, and
Service Provider agencies. They advocate on national issues along with NJ’s
Congressional Delegation.
Provides direct services in 20 county chapter Service Provider agencies and in the
School Systems. They also provide responsibility for NJ activities in family and
education advocacy, public relations, community outreach, information, public
policy analysis, and self-advocacy
