Mr. Mahoney, a criminal defense attorney in Buffalo, NY, became involved in the defense of a young man with Asperger's Syndrome charged federally with child pornography and, as a result of handling this matter, he has become an expert, conducting extensive research in the field, working with experts in ASD and has written an exhaustive article on the issues surrounding the involvement of people with autism spectrum diagnoses and the criminal law.
