The Arc of Warren County: tep Up for the Arc- Walkathon & 5K Fun Run
You can help raise funds in support of The Arc’s Recreation Services Department by participating in the annual “Step Up for The Arc” Walkathon Community Walk & 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
You can help provide and maintain our recreation programs such as Healthy Life Club, Social Club, Bowling, Open Swim and many more by joining us.
The 5K Fun Run starts off at 9am. Enjoy a 5K that weaves through and around Meadow Breeze Park in Washington, NJ (Warren County). It is an easy course, with just one hill in the second mile. Awards to top two finishers in each age group for both Men & Women.
You can also join us for a 1 mile Walkathon Community Walk around Meadow Breeze Park. The Community Walk will begin at 10:30 am. Join our Recreation Participants for a nice, easy walk!
In order to to compete, you must be in good health and physically prepared to take on the challenges of the event for which you register. Registration is available in advance or on race day. Skateboards, skates, and bikes are prohibited on the course. Pre-registration closes on August 25, 2014.
