Whether you're providing or receiving supports, separating the "personal" from "professional" is a challenge in any field. It's more difficult to maintain while developing positive, deeply meaningful relationships. However, the line dividing what is helpful in the short-term and empowering in the long-term are not always clear. When those lines remain blurred, it's unhealthy for everyone involved. In this session: We will identify some traits separating empowering and disempowering relationships. We'll then explore strategies for building that empowering relationship as a self-advocate or an ally.
