October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! Each webinar in October will focus on some aspect of employment for people with I/DD.
When we think about social media, we may think about the photos we take and how we can use a filter, or effect, to look just right. We can also use social media in the same way when looking for jobs, shaping how we look online just right. This way, employers can find us when they look for workers and we also look like the perfect job candidate when we apply to jobs we find online! During this session we will discuss Facebook and LinkedIn, from privacy settings, to what your posts may tell an employers, as well as how to use these social media apps to find work opportunities.
