3/16/21: Sexual Rights and Sexual Consent
This webinar will examine the World Association for Sexual Health’s Declaration of Sexual Rights and participants’ perceptions on the extent to which they are actualized or blocked for people in their care. Participants will also look at criteria for determining sexual consent and examine several case studies that illustrate a person’s consent abilities and educational needs.
This webinar features a guest presenter. Bill Taverner, MA, CSE, is the executive director of The Center for Sex Education where he has worked for the past 23 years. He is the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Sexuality Education, and the author or editor of many publications in sexuality education. Bill is the recipient of several national awards in sexuality education. He adores his children and loves baseball.
