 resented on the topic of Defining Autism: From Nonspeaking to Professional
  Speaker at Warren Hills High School last year and look forward to coming 
 back to the area again to address the audience on this new topic.”\n\nDr. 
 Magro’s talk will offer a first-hand account of a young man who was bullie
 d as he was growing up on the autism spectrum.  He will share the difficul
 ties of having autism and not being able to express and defend himself.  S
 ome causes and effects of bullying on our community and in our schools wil
 l be discussed\, as well as which behaviors are considered bullying (inclu
 ding cyberbullying).  A plan will detail seven stops involved in taking a 
 stand against bullying will be shared that should help self-advocates\, fa
 milies and professionals.  Time will be included for questions and discuss
 ion.\n\nDr. Kerry Magro (Mah-grow) Ed.D. is an award-winning autistic prof
 essional speaker\, best-selling author and autism consultant to the HBO se
 ries Mrs. Fletcher that aired in Fall 2019 and the latest season of Netfli
 x’s Emmy-Award Winning Series ‘Love on the Spectrum’ He started profession
 al speaking 12 years ago via the National Speakers Association after he fe
 ll in love with theater as a child to help with his social and communicati
 on skills. Today he has spoken at over 1200 events during that time includ
 e 2 TEDxTalks and a 'Talks at Google' presentation. In addition\, Kerry is
  CEO & President of KFM Making A Difference\, a nonprofit organization tha
