 \, this webinar will discuss community-based travel safety\, safe use of a
 ccessible public transportation\, and include a virtual trip to the beach.
  It will also highlight NJ TRANSIT’s VAXRIDE initiative: helping people in
  New Jersey identify vaccine sites they can access using public transporta
 tion. VAXRIDE is powered by data from the NJ Department of Health\, organi
 zed by NJ TRANSIT\, with additional transit option information provided by
  NJTIP. \n\nMelody Bundy is a program manager with experience in travel tr
 aining and ten years of experience in education. Most of Ms. Bundy’s work 
 includes training individuals to use public transportation to become indep
 endent travelers. She has experience as a trainer with community organizat
 ions and high school transition students\, and her professional strengths 
 focus on program/curriculum development and implementation. She received h
 er Master of Public Administration degree in Non-Profit Management from Ca
 pella University and Bachelor degree in Economics from Seton Hall Universi
 ty. She was recognized in 2017 as Provider of the Year by the Passaic Coun
 ty Workforce Development Board Disability Committee and was elected Transp
 ortation Chair for the Bergen County Workforce Development Board. Currentl
 y\, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Association for Travel Ins
 truction\, the industry’s national leading organization of travel training
 .\n\nLouis Hoffman serves as a program manager and has been a travel instr
 uctor with NJTIP since 2008. He specializes in group travel instruction pr
 ograms for older adults and people with disabilities\, as well as Connect 
 to Transit workshop training for professionals. Mr. Hoffman is a graduate 
 of the School of Social Work at Rutgers University with a concentration in
  Nonprofit and Public Management as well as an area of emphasis in aging. 
 He was a recipient of a 2012-13 Fellowship in Aging. Mr. Hoffman currently
  manages multiple projects with schools and human service agencies.
