 ral third party called a mediator. The mediator has professional training 
 and isn't on either side. In this presentation\, we will discuss the steps
  of mediation and what to expect in the process. \n\nOur presenter is Tina
  M. James\, Esq.\, an experienced advocate and litigator. Her legal work f
 ocuses on estate planning and administration\, guardianship\, and assistin
 g individuals with disabilities access appropriate services. Before workin
 g as a litigator with a national law firm\, she served as a judicial law c
 lerk in the New Jersey Superior Court\, Appellate Division. She has succes
 sfully argued before the Florida Supreme Court as well as other state and 
 federal courts. Tina was selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers Risin
 g Stars in 2015 and 2016. Tina received her juris doctorate from Rutgers U
 niversity School of Law\, and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers Univer
 sity\, Douglass College. Personally and professionally Tina is committed t
 o promoting all aspects of diversity and inclusion. She volunteers with a 
 variety of non-profit organizations serving children and is a past member 
 of the Board of Directors for the Florida Diversity Council.
