 lation is being passed and why. A brief overview of current findings will 
 be discussed by NCCJD’s Program Manager. Ms. Sachs and Ms. Saylor will hig
 hlight legislation passed in their home state of Maryland inspired by Etha
 n Saylor’s death to establish a program to effectively train people with d
 isabilities to meaningfully participate in law enforcement trainings. The 
 Colorado team will discuss their collaborative role in successfully passin
 g state legislation that allows crime victims with disabilities to have ac
 cess to hearsay exception in order to ensure their full participation in t
