Transition of Children's Services

As of January 1, 2013, the New Jersey Department of Children and Families - Division of Children's System of Care (CSOC) assumed responsibility for providing support and services, deemed clinically and functionally appropriate, for individuals under age 21 with developmental disabilities. The State of New Jersey has for many years contracted with PerformCare to administer DCF’s Child Behavioral Health System. PerformCare is now the single point of entry for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in New Jersey as well.

Consumers can visit PerformCare on the web to access information about the transition and to apply for services for children with I/DD through CSOC.
