Step Up For The Arc - Walk 2009

Step Up For The Arc - Walk 2009 is the eighth annual statewide Walkathon of The Arc in New Jersey. In 2008 we raised $572,074 for programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In the seven years we have had a walkathon we have raised more than $3.7 million! This year the Walk will be held in 20 locations across the State.

Click here to download materials to hold a "Shred the Word" event at your walkathon. "Shred the Word" is a campaign to educate the public that offensive words like "retard" are hurtful and discriminatory.

Step Up For The Arc - Walk 2009

All proceeds go to benefit the programs of The Arc and its local county chapters which serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families.
