The American Institute of Philanthropy has given The Arc an "A" for its charitable giving practices in
that 90% of The Arc's expenses are spent on the charitable purpose of the organization. The National
Charities Registration Bureau consistently rates The Arc in the top 10% of American charities for its high percentage of contribution which goes directly to the cause.
